A family home at the foot of the Tian Shan mountains —
homemade food, panoramic views, authentic Kyrgyz warmth.

Our story
A family home
open to the world
In 2017, Aziz had a vision: to share the breathtaking beauty of Chon-Kemin Valley with travellers from around the world. The whole family embraced the idea — and Kemin Guest House was born.
Our guesthouse sits right at the foot of the Tian Shan mountains. From every room, you hear the sound of the spring river and see an unbroken panorama of peaks. This is not a city hotel — it is a family home that happens to welcome guests.
Managed by Meerim, our team of cooks, cleaners, and guides will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and at home. Languages spoken: English, Russian, Turkish.

Things to do
Activities & experiences
Chon-Kemin Valley is one of Kyrgyzstan's most beautiful mountain areas. We organise unforgettable experiences right from the guesthouse.
🐴Horse Riding
The most authentic way to experience Chon-Kemin Valley. Our experienced local guides lead you along mountain trails, through meadows of wildflowers, across rivers, and up to viewpoints that reveal the full scale of the Tian Shan range. Suitable for beginners and experienced riders.
From $25 per person
🫓Boorsok Show
Join our family in the kitchen to learn how to make boorsok — the traditional Kyrgyz fried bread that has been a staple of nomadic life for centuries. You knead, shape, and fry the dough yourself, then eat what you make. A hands-on favourite, especially for children.
$10 per person
Yurt Experience
The yurt is the beating heart of Kyrgyz culture — a portable home that has sheltered nomadic families across Central Asia for over a thousand years. Visit or spend time in our traditional yurt, learn the meaning behind every pattern and structural element, and understand the philosophy of a life close to nature.
From $15 per person
🎵Folk & Culture Show
As night falls over Chon-Kemin, local artists perform a vibrant programme of traditional Kyrgyz music, dance, and an eagle-hunting demonstration. The komuz (traditional string instrument) fills the air, dancers perform in embroidered costumes, and an eagle handler shows the ancient art of hunting with birds of prey.
$20 per person
🏇Horse Games
Kyrgyz horse games are one of the most spectacular expressions of the nomadic tradition. Watch skilled riders compete in kok-boru (a traditional team sport), ulak tartysh, and other ancient equestrian games. The skill, speed, and horsemanship on display is breathtaking.
$15 per person
Hiking
The Chon-Kemin Valley offers hiking trails for every level — from gentle river walks through poplar and spruce forests to challenging high-altitude ridge hikes with panoramic views of the Tian Shan. The valley rises from 1,400 m to over 2,800 m, giving you a wide range of terrain and ecosystems to explore.
